Bringing full-bandwidth High Resolution Audio to Tannoy’s acclaimed Prestige series loudspeakers, the new Prestige Gold Reference SuperTweeter marries timeless styling with cutting edge audio technology.

With a design inspired by Tannoy’s earliest desk-microphones from the 1950s, this latest SuperTweeter boasts a custom built magnesium alloy dome tweeter, neodymium motor and the highest specification crossover components.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with Tannoy’s Prestige Dual Concentric drivers, the Prestige GR SuperTweeter is capable of extending the frequency response of a Prestige GR loudspeaker system to 62 kHz with useable output to 100 kHz.

 

 

 

The Tannoy ST-300Mg SuperTweeter has been developed to bring the benefits of truly Wideband frequency response to any high fidelity loudspeaker system. The ST-300Mg extends the high frequency capability of the complete loudspeaker system to over 62 kHz with useable HF output up to 100 kHz.

Ideal for High Resolution Audio formats with extremely wide dynamic range and very high frequency extension, the ST-300Mg offers variable sensitivity and an adjustable crossover point to seamlessly integrate with the widest range of loudspeakers.

The name originates from a solid-state rectifier invented by company founder, Guy Fountain, made from an alloy or mixture of Tantalum and Lead. This Tantalum-Lead Alloy was the basis of the now world famous brand name of Tannoy.
